James Baldwin

Baldwin organized his essay with a literary device of counterbalance and ending with his receive as the subject matter topic. He detailed his unp lumbed treatment and failed relationship with his father and the implications of his leaving home. He portray his anger as a somber man as a blind fever and as a befuddle between gangrene and amputation. He also used adjectives standardised exacerbated, intransigent, dissonant anarchy, vindictive, bitter and incessant. Baldwin draw his anger to his father as incongruous, sardonic, bitter, paranoia, fearful despair and app alto inducehering. Baldwin described anger as all consuming and dangerous to a heart because the ultimate bankruptcy is the hater. The(pg.59) relationship between black and white America and his throw father is a write up of loss, anarchy and hate. He regrets that he could not dominate the obstacles in his personal narratives. His description of the riots and waste of stores being pillaged is typical of the matter he expects. However he is wannabe in some of his poetic prose because he uses a preachers druthers for rhythm and resonance in bibli cal passages.
